Over the last few weeks, we at Delmar have been busy preparing new properties, both for sale and for rent.

The team have also been keeping busy finalising recently sold properties. We understand how exciting it is to look for property abroad and we take pride in helping our clients every step of the way.

We are also proud to help and support various charity events. One such recent event was held at the Wine bar and Terrace@ The Harbour Club, in Los Gigantes, to raise much needed funds for the volunteer firefighters of Santiago del Tiede, which our Director (and persuasive raffle ticket seller) Michelle Greaves attended.

The team at Delmar would like to highlight an area of Tenerife every month, to showcase just a sample of the local towns and villages.

This month the area we are highlighting is the town of Playa San Juan… The charming coastal town of Playa san Juan has a lot to offer both tourists and locals alike. There is a lovely sheltered beach protected by the harbour wall, with calm waters perfect for families.

The beach and surrounding area has undergone refurbishment and offers disabled access, lifeguards on duty, and various other amenities. It is a lovely area to spend some time. If the beach isn’t to your taste, there is a long promenade, perfect for a stroll with a good selection of bars and restaurants to enjoy a refreshing drink.

The Tourist information centre and a children’s play park are also situated near the beach. Although the town is relatively small, there are many amenities, such as shops, restaurants and bars, as well as medical centres and pharmacies.

A market is held in the plaza every Wednesday, with vendors offering a wide range of products, another children’s play park is also situated in the plaza.

Parking is available, either on street or in the new underground car park, which is free to use from 08.00h-14.00h Monday to Friday. The town also has a good regular bus service.
